Buffalo Sabres Twelve Days Of Christmas - Day Seven

We are almost to the end of the count here as the Christmas season is just about over.  Threw six days of Christmas we have gone from the net, to the blue line, to the

forwards, and just all around team as a whole.

For day seven, we go to an on ice feature that the Buffalo Sabres don’t have – that, well at this point, they might as well just go for it.  Instead of the winter clad shovel crew that comes out and scrapes the ice during stoppages – throw caution into the wind and sign the Buffalo Sabres up for ice girls.  Tell me the arena wouldn’t be a much better place for the average fan to see seven ice girls scraping the ice around the benches and goals whenever there was a stoppage in play?

It gives the chance for the Buffalo Sabres to get on a power ranking list that doesn’t put them dead last.

Could the Buffalo Sabres field a team of ice girls that would be listed as the hottest ice girls in the NHL?

Sure right now the Buffalo Sabres are selling ad space on their shovels.  How much more will the average target demographic of the team pay attention when the ice is being scraped if it is being done by girls that the target market are attracted to?

Call them what you will, New Jersey calls them a dance squad, some teams call them cheerleaders (Florida doesn’t bother with fancy names, a ducks a duck), and then there are teams that call them ice girls like that is their only responsibility; either way it just another thing the Sabres can do to get fans excited.

So on New Year’s Eve – here is to you ice girls, may we see seven (at least) of you scraping the ice in Buffalo and getting the crowd pumped up in the near future.
