Yeah!  It is the last day of the year!  Tomorrow starts a new calendar and a new beginning for the Buffalo Sabres.  2013 was a tumulus year for the blue and gold, and 2014 can

only be better.  Buffalo will play tonight to close out the year against the Winnipeg Jets – in Winnipeg.  While they are miles from home they will be hoping to close out the year on a winning streak and set themselves up to start the 2014 season the way they should have started in October. Will it be enough to make a push for the playoffs, maintain the first overall pick headed into the draft lottery; or fall somewhere in between.
