BREAKING: Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes Game CANCELLED

Due to the “winter vortex” conditions pummeling Western New York, tonight’s Buffalo Sabres game against the Carolina Hurricane‘s has been officially postponed.

Raleigh News and Observer Sports writer Chip Alexander broke the news around 2:30 this afternoon.

Very descriptive right? Well that is all that needed to be said. With driving bans all over the area, it was no surprise that the game was called off.

WGR analyst Mike Schopp also replied to his own tweet talking about tonights status.

Problems that will occur from this cancellation is when they will be able to reschedule the game. With both teams having a packed schedule on top of the Olympics taking a huge chunk of time away, it is hard to determine when this game will be made up.

The announcement of the make-up date will be confirmed at a later time. Check back with SabreNoise.com later on as more details emerge!
