Very descriptive right? Well that is all that needed to be said. With driving bans all over the area, it was no surprise that the game was called off.
WGR analyst Mike Schopp also replied to his own tweet talking about tonights status.
No game tonight. RT @Schopptalk: The Sabres are expected to announce the postponement of tonight’s game in just a few minutes.

Problems that will occur from this cancellation is when they will be able to reschedule the game. With both teams having a packed schedule on top of the Olympics taking a huge chunk of time away, it is hard to determine when this game will be made up.
The announcement of the make-up date will be confirmed at a later time. Check back with SabreNoise.com later on as more details emerge!
Update: 3:48 PM 1/7/2014
According to Mike Harrington (@BNHarrington) of The Buffalo News (@TheBuffaloNews)
The #Sabres say hold on to your tickets for tonight. Any and all policies regarding them will be announced when a makeup date is finalized.

Update: 3:15 PM 1/9/2014
The Buffalo Sabres have announced that the postponed game is now rescheduled for February 25, the day before their originally scheduled return from the Olympic break. The game is slated for a 7 PM faceoff and broadcast announcements will be announced at another later date.
