Tuesday night’s game between the Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes had to be postponed due to the snow blizzard- vortex- that hit Buffalo on Monday and Tuesday. It was the right call by the league as it was unsafe for fans or arena workers to make their way down to the First Niagara Centre. The game has been rescheduled for Friday February 25th, right after the Olympic break.

The Sabres last game pre-Olympics will be on the 6th of February against the Ottawa Senators and the Buffalo Sabres will be back in
action after the Olympics a day earlier than expected with the rescheduled game against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Sabres were originally slated to be back in action on the 26th of February against the Boston Bruins in Buffalo. Now the Sabres will have a 3-game home stand playing 3 games in 4 nights between the 25th to 28th as they welcome the Hurricanes, Bruins and Sharks to town.
The 25th is the final day of the NHL break for the Olympics which allows roughly 150 players to participate for their countries in the Olympics and depending how deep the Sabres players go in the Olympics, we may see some tired players back in Buffalo.
Friday February 25th, 7pm at the First Niagara Center- Buffalo Sabres vs. Carolina Hurricanes. Be there!
