Happy Sunday morning to you all, NHL fans!

What is going on with those Buffalo Sabres?  Three consecutive 4-3 losses?  Man, that’s tough to wrap your head around – especially if you picked this team to go 2-1 this week like I did.  Drat.  On to top it off, my fan picks stunk yesterday, too.

I’ve got a fever, folks, and the only prescription, is more links!

All but four of the teams in the NHL played last night – that’s a lot of hockey!  Get caught up here.  [NHL.com]

What in the world was going on between the Vancouver Canucks and the Calgary Flames last night?  Read about that drama here.  [Sporting News]

The ridiculous illegal goal scored by the Detroit Red Wings last night?  More proof that the NHL needs to expand its use of video review.  [Puck Daddy]

Say what you will about Gary Bettman, but his commitment to having the NHL stand for the right thing is admirable.  [Sporting News]

And your Buffalo Sabres link of the day focuses on . . . John Scott!  [The Hockey News]  Nice piece.

Enjoy the reads, and your day, everyone!

    Hey Rich..

I have a request. Can you put the ‘ fan picks ‘ up a bit earlier? Usually by the time they are up, I miss the posting as Im already on my way in to the city for the game. For a 7pm game, Im out the door at 4:30-5pm.

    Thanks!

I’ll try – yesterday I was super busy, so it went up later than I wanted.

Who won the pick’em by the way?

I’m just getting to a computer, so I’ll be doing the tally soon.
