Buffalo Sabres - Washington Capitals: Fan Picks!

Hey everyone!

Sorry I’m getting this out a little later than usual – work was a bitch, and my kids are driving me nuts!  Ha ha ha!

Anyway, last night belonged to Sabre Noise staff writer Cory, who was good for 25 points.  The only other person to break 20 points was Jes, who came in a close second with 21.

I’ll get around to updating the season standings in a little bit, but let’s get down to brass tacks here!

Tonight’s questions to consider:

1. I went way too high with the over under last night.  Let’s see if I can get a little closer: tonight, I’m setting it at 4.5.  Do the two teams combine to score 4 or less, or 5 or more?  4 pts.

2. You know the drill: pick any five players, culled from both teams.  I will give 10 pts. to anyone who picks the first goal scorer of the game.  I will give you 5 pts. for any player who scores in the game after that.  And get this: if one of your players gets a hat trick, I’ll give you 20 points!  I know – it’s a long shot.  But long shots deserve rewards.

3. Which goalie has the better save percentage tonight: Braden Holtby or Jhonas Enroth?  +5 points.

4. How many shots on goal will the two teams combine to fire at goalies?  +7 for closest; +4 for second-closest.

5. Who wins, and what will be the final COMBINED score be?  +4 for picking game winner, +4 for being closest to the combined score.

All right – time’s a  wastin’!  Let’s go!
