I almost did it – five minutes into the game I was ready to turn it off.  In fact – our twitter account even made a funny.

It was bad, it didn’t get worse – and the Buffalo Sabres were able to hold on for a point and not let things run away. If your on draft lottery watch – Buffalo has the last spot in the league – and holds it four points below the Edmonton Oilers; but, the Sabres have three more games to play than Edmonton.

Here are your morning links.

Ryan Miller Trade Rumors – How many teams are interested – and is Tim Murray waiting for teams to call him? [SB Nation].

When they score in front of him or not – Jhonas Enroth can’t buy a win.  [Buffalo News].

What’s ahead for Matt Moulson?  Does he stay in Buffalo to be a big part of the future - or has he already made up his mind about leaving town before the deadline? [Fanatix].

Will trades heat up before the Olympic break – or will it turn into the Fast and Furious when teams return to action after the international break? [SB Nation].

Too many families having to sit out Sochi should be a wake up call to the IOC when they look at host cities for future Olympics.[NPR].

Ok – not really hockey related, but there seems to be a lot of hullaba-loo over a double toilet seen in Sochi (two toilets one stall) that was nothing more than a crafty story with an overzealous journalist.  Funny way to start your morning.  Dude – could you pass me the toilet paper? [Atlantic Cities].
