It appears tonight will be filled with Buffalo Sabres debut’s as Cory Conacher, Michal Neuvirth and Nicolas Deslauriers will all make their Sabres debut against the Florida Panthers. Conacher and Neuvirth were set to make debuts tonight after being acquired at the deadline, however with injuries to Zemgus Girgensons and Chris Stewart the Sabres were forced to make some moves.

Luke Adam will rejoin the Sabres for the second time this season getting another chance to prove himself to the new bench
boss and GM, while Deslauriers could make his NHL debut tonight. Deslauriers came to Buffalo as a part of the Brayden McNabb trade with the Los Angeles Kings and was set to make his Rochester Americans debut tonight.
Luke Adam has 1 goal in 9 games with the Sabres this season while maintaining a point per game pace with the Amerks notching 42 points in 42 games. Adam is also returning from the AHL all star game where he represented the Amerks.
There is no guarantee that Deslauriers will see the ice tonight, but he could very well stick with the Sabres through the end of the season. With the Sabres recalling two Amerks, looks like Girgensons and Stewart could be on the shelf for awhile.
With the Sabres calling up Adam and Deslauriers, the team will be left with just 2 reinforcement calls for the rest of the season. Will we see Mark Pysyk in blue and gold again this season? What about giving one of the Amerks goalies a shot?
Tonight could be an interesting night for the Sabres as fans will see lots of new faces and numbers wearing blue and gold. The future of the club will be tested tonight with Cory Conacher, Luke Adam, Nicolas Deslauriers and Michal Neuvirth lacing up tonight.
