This past weekend was full of Buffalo Sabres hockey – but I have to tell you the most enjoyable part of the weekend was getting up extra early on my only day off this past Saturday. I have long struggled to understand how enjoyable watching little kids skate and chase a puck up and down an ice surface that early in the morning.
Well after doing it – I give a ton of credit to the parents of hockey playing youth players – and although the youth hockey season is just about wrapping up across Western New York – I highly recommend you get out there and watch a youth hockey game in your area. It is high time communities got out there and supported youth hockey teams – those kids deserve more than just mom and dad sitting in the stands cheering them on.
