Good morning Buffalo Sabres fans. Little bit more rain this weekend to keep the ground soft – hopefully the weather breaks soon enough and we are enjoying some regularly scheduled spring/summer type weather right? On to the morning opinions!

Ryan Miller is apparently not the choice for St. Louis, as they are opting to let him hit free agency after a poor playoff performance left the favorites out in the first round. [Buffalo News].
No room for Ryan Miller as the Blues signed Brian Elliott to a three-year deal, and have already announced they will be using AHL star Jake Allen next season. So Miller becomes the odd man out. Where will Ryan Miller end up? Nobody knows at this point, and realistically, outside of the few fans that remain faithful to him as a player, who cares?
Miller’s biggest bone of contention in Buffalo was how he was suffering on a bad team, and for some nights, that seemed apparent as he made countless saves to keep the team in the game. Of course he goes to one of the best in the league, and they miss out on the Presidents trophy and get bounced in the first round where he has some very poor numbers.
Miller will still be sought after on July 1, and will likely get overpaid just as many other big name free agents have on the opening day of free agency. But with his stock dwindling, he didn’t play very well with what could be the last contract he stands to sign in the National Hockey League.
What players are under the most pressure in the 2014 Conference Finals? [Bleacher Report].
The players that were under the most pressure are out. I wouldn’t think that anyone wearing a Montreal Canadiens sweater is under pressure, as they weren’t supposed to make it this far.
Same thing for the New York Rangers, how many people picked the Pittsburgh Penguins from the get go because of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin?
The Chicago Blackhawks have had their moments, but have generally, well I don’t want to say coasted, but they are the new modern equivalent to a dynasty so isn’t just a given that they would make it to this point?
So the Los Angeles Kings are under the most pressure to rekindle the magic of their Stanley Cup season so they can show the hockey world they weren’t a group of one and dones?
