Just one month until the 2014 draft, and approximatelyl 395 days until the 2015 draft. Just giving you a heads up as that is what most Buffalo Sabres fans are eagerly awaiting at this point in the rebuild.
Tom Golisano, former Buffalo Sabres owner, wants back into sports ownership, and this time he is prepared to shell out money to buy the Buffalo Bills. [Sports Media 101].
It should come as no surprise that Tom Golisano is going to be active in this process. He cut ties from the Buffalo Sabres – primarily because he was losing money and he was unprepared as an owner to meet the demands of free agency and keep a winning team together. What is scary for the Buffalo Bills is if a likely scenario will happen with the Bills. With the NFL being a different animal than the NHL, this shouldn’t be a problem.
The Buffalo Sabres saw success under Golisano’s ownership; with the Bills on the rise is he ready for another attempt for a run at success?

Tim Murray has a Buffalo Sabres organization to rebuild. He is not the only general manager looking to make improvements starting with the draft. There likely won’t be movement from the Buffalo Sabres when it comes to the second overall pick in the draft, but with a roster full of touchable players – there could be a lot of movement in the NHL this off season.
High risk players are available this year in free agency -who will get rewarded? [Bleacher Report].
Free agents win every year on July 1st, and not every organization wins though – injury, slumps, dry spells etc. The Buffalo Sabres need to avoid free agency until their is a stable foundation in the home barn before you try and fill it with potential all stars or busts.
