Buffalo Sabres Announce Preseason Schedule

The Buffalo Sabres officially announced their 2014 NHL preseason schedule today. The team will play six games between September 21 and October 3, including three games at home. This period of time will also see another hockey game played at the First Niagara Center, as a crop of 2015 NHL draft-hopefuls take the ice on September 25 for the All-American Prospects Game.

The Sabres will play six preseason games this year, facing off against Washington, Carolina and Toronto in a pair of games against each team, one home and one away.

The Sabres will open their preseason schedule at 5 p.m. on September 21 against the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center.

The Sabres will then host a pair of games, one each against the Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs. The Hurricanes will visit the First Niagara Center on Tuesday, September 23 at 7 p.m., with Toronto coming into town three days later on Friday, September 26 for 7 p.m. matchup.

Two days later, the Sabres and Maple Leafs will meet again, this time in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. They’ll face off at 7 p.m. on September 28. The Sabres will then host the Capitals at 7 p.m. on October 1 before traveling to Carolina to face the Hurricanes at 7 p.m. on October 3.

In the midst of the Sabres preseason schedule, Buffalo will play host to the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects game on September 25. This is the second time the Sabres have hosted the AAPG, and they’re set to host it again in 2015. Maybe that game will be played at one of the HARBORcenter rinks?

Ticket prices for the preseason games range from $15 for 300 level seats to $35 for some 100 level and 200 level seats.

Prices for tickets to the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game will be as follows: $15 for 100/200 level, $10 for 300 level. Don’t miss out on your chance to see some of the top American-born prospects for the 2015 NHL Draft — one or more of them could end up on the Sabres roster someday!

Tickets for the three Sabres home preseason games and the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game will go on sale August 25 at 10 a.m.
