Buffalo Sabres prospect Anthony Florentino is turning heads at Team USA U20 camp. [Rant Sports].
The heat is turning up on the prospect pool for the Buffalo Sabres. That heat is going to be turned onto the roster soon, as players that once had an almost guaranteed roster spot are now fighting for a position that is no longer guaranteed as training camp will decide who is playing on opening night.
The Buffalo Sabres won’t be taking a roster full of prospects and kids into battle for 2014-2015 season, but the more they turn heads the more they will likely be on the roster sooner rather than later.
Ticket Master leaks a Stadium Series location. [Puck Daddy].
If your in the Bay area – your getting an outdoor game, unofficially. But the facts are there. Unless the info was put into the system by a hopeful developer who is a die hard hockey fan – it looks like Ticket Master made a slip of the digitial tongue – and it just so happens it revealed that the NHL is looking at a Stadium Series for 2014-2015.
Will it be as expansive as last season that saw a slew of games nationwide – or will we get a scaled back version as the NHL has unwrapped the bow on a new series but doesn’t want to flood the schedule every year with outdoor games.
Either way – it looks like another team is getting an outdoor game before the Buffalo Sabres again.
It has gone pretty viral on social media, but here is the map of how hated NHL hockey teams are in the Unied States and Canada.
I think it is a pretty safe bet that outside of New England – there is no love for the Boston Bruins.
Where is all the hatred for the Buffalo Sabres? If you canvas the Carolina Hurricanes fan base – we are pretty hated down there because they hate the fact that our fans overtake their arena when the blue and gold visit.
But we are apparently not as hated as the Pittsburgh Penguins. Maybe its is because we gave them Nathan Gerbe.
It isn’t exactly scientific, but it is nice to see so many people hate the Boston Bruins.
