if you’re finding yourself having to be selective about which Buffalo Sabres home games to attend next season, we’ve got you covered!

The 2016-17 NHL regular season is shaping up to be a good one for the Buffalo Sabres.

Between the free-agent acquisition of Kyle Okposo, the drafting of Swedish phenom Alexander Nylander, and the phenomal 2015-16 performances by rookies Jack Eichel and Sam Reinhart, there is reason to believe that the First Niagara Center will be jam-packed with fans wearing blue and gold all season long.

Unless you are among those diehard fans who make it to each and every home game, however, you better start looking at the Sabres’ home schedule now, in order to formulate your plan of attack.  You wouldn’t want to show up to the FNC, only to watch the Sabres get destroyed by a team that is still a few rungs above them on the playoff ladder, now would you?   Not if you can help it – which is where we come in!

Today, we present to you five must-see Buffalo Sabres home games, followed later this week with five-games that might get ugly.   Keep in mind that the future is impossible to predict; we cannot foresee things such as a key player getting injured, or the home team coming out and laying a big ol’ turd on the ice for whatever reason.  Still, if you ask us, these are the five games that appear to be well-worth your money right now, so start marking your schedule!
