Buffalo Sabres Weekly Review/Preview

The Buffalo Sabres are on a 12 game losing streak and are working towards tying if not beating the league record for losing streaks.  The record is 17 games, which has been done twice.  Once back in the 74-75 season by the Washington Capitals, their first year in the league.  The 92-93 San Jose Sharks went on to tie that record as well.  Are the Sabres going to tie or break this record, this year?

    Weekly Preview

This week may have come at a perfect time for the Buffalo Sabres.  They are knee deep in a 12 game losing streak and have been outscored a lot to a little (my abacus doesn’t go that high).  This week provides the Sabres with some much needed time off due to the All-Star break.  Their next game will not come until January 27th.  We have 8 days off and they do as well to enjoy some high scoring, no defense hockey, wait we watch that every night.

But seriously, the Sabres are off.  They hopefully will use this time to back-up and reassess their play and make some drastic changes to see if they can’t change this major rut that they are in and begin to move forward again.
