With the 94th overall pick in the fourth round, the Buffalo Sabres selected Matej Pekar, a center from the Czech Republic.

Fun Fact:

Matej Pekar comes with a lot of potential, as he was named the USHL Rookie of the Year this past season with the Muskegon Lumberjacks. He is committed to playing his freshman year at Miami Ohio University.
