Tuch has two multiple-goal games

Let’s not get so bold and claim Tuch will score a hat trick; he’ll have multiple goal games as opponents continue to key on the red-hot Jeff Skinner and Tage Thompson. Right now, Tuch has 20 points in 18 games and has easily solidified himself on the Sabres first line.

He’s done it all since debuting for the Sabres on December 29th. But, he’s yet to log a multiple-goal game. Thompson and Skinner are forcing opponents to change their game plan given their recent scoring frenzies. And when they’re not scoring, they’re passing the puck around as though they know exactly where their linemates will be.

Tuch will step up in a big way. And expect at least one multiple-goal outing. Now, the Sabres won’t be sneaking into the postseason, but Tuch’s performance will give this team and its loyal fan base even more reasons to be optimistic.
