The Buffalo Sabres have come a long way in adding depth to the organization. One of the area’s that has seen the biggest improvement is the centre position. Two seasons’ ago the Sabres were grasping at straws to find players to fill the centre hole, they even put Luke Adam on the first line. But after two drafts and some solid trades the Buffalo Sabres no longer have a hole up the middle. In fact according to Hockey’s Future the Sabres have 17 Sabres “prospects” who can play centre in addition to Cody Hodgson, Tyler Ennis and Steve Ott. Come training camp there will be roughly 9 players battling for 4 centre spots, which Centres’ will make the cut?
