Sabres brought in Ron Rolston, Enroth proved that he can stop a hockey puck and that with more playing time can hold down the Sabres crease. As a result the Sabres are comfortable in getting rid of Miller and moving forward with Enroth and the rest of the goalies in the pipeline.

Fresh off his World Championship win with Sweden and a new two-year deal, Enroth will be eager to prove he has what it takes to become the Sabres number one goaltender once Miller is shipped out. Enroth is no Ryan Miller, but he will be able to do a decent job between the pipes; This could be Jhonas Enroth’s breakout season.
