Forget the fact that they are one of the undefeated teams left in the league, the Colorado Avalanche were always one of my favorite teams since joining the league at the demise of the Nordiques. The fact that they blanked the Boston Bruins 2-0 en route to their fourth victory of the season helps as well. Ryan O’Reilly nets the game winner in the closing minute of the first, and Matt Duchene adds an empty netter to seal the Bruins fate.
