5. My Life in Hockey by Jean Beliveau

How could you NOT want to read this book, written by a Montreal Canadiens legend? Beliveau is one of the most respected and renowned profesional athletes of all time, and this is his autobiography. This title was originally published in 1994 but was re-released in an updated format in 2005. The updated version includes not only Beliveau’s stories about his NHL career, but also follows him through his battle with throat cancer.
