Roberto Luongo could not figure out what superstar Evgani Malkin was going to do in the shootout, so he bit when he should have barked and the Canucks wind up losing to the Penguins in exciting fashion, 4-3.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and the Oilers finally won a road game, although their victory may be hard to enjoy, as forward Taylor Hall suffered a knee injury during the 3-1 win over Ottawa.

Pekka Rinne stopped 28 shots, including all 11 that he faced in the third, and rookie blueliner Seth Jones scored the game-winner as the Predators downed the Canadiens 2-1.
