Taking on the Montreal Canadiens, they will be dealing with a team that is tied for top in the league.

But, the Sabres are improving. Despite a 2-1 loss to the Jets, this is also a team that is on the road to improvement. It’s still a long road from here, but it’s starting to smooth out.

Buffalo will be the host for this weekend’s home-and-home series against Montreal. Last game, Buffalo was able to squeeze a point out of the game, but ultimately falling 2-1 in a shootout earlier this month.

In both games prior to their matchup with Buffalo, the Montreal lost by 5-0 decisions, first to the Chicago Blackhawks and most recently against the New York Rangers, so expect another attempt at a bounce-back game for Montreal.

On TV, tonights game will be broadcast by a plethora of channels. MSG-B and Bell TV will pick up the game for WNY and the over the border Sabres fans, for Montreal, RDS and SportsNet East will also take the broadcast for tonights game for Montreal and other Canadian viewers.

On the radio waves, WGR is the obvious answer for the broadcast, while TSN 690 Montreal is the place to tune in if you can’t make your way in front of the TV screen.

As always, feel free to make your way over to the App Store or Google Play to download a bunch of fun apps! NHL GameCenter is your all-in-one app stop for anything NHL hockey. Jhonas Enroth will earn his start in net tonight, with the status of who is in net tomorrow night still a mystery. Michal Neuvirth is still technically injured with a bruised knee, but he has been feeling good since going down with a lower body injury back on November 22nd. We could see him taking the pipes tomorrow night in Montreal.

Enroth has been strong, not allowing an even-strength goal in his past 208:35 on ice. He will be opposed by Canadiens goalie Carey Price.

As the usual, tonight’s game is especially focused on both Brian Gionta and Josh Gorges. Gorges will miss tonights game, however, still nursing a knee injury that has sidelined him for five games, counting tonight. Given how he has felt in the last few days, we could see him dressing for tomorrows game.

Finally making his way back to the ice will be Tyler Myers. Myers has been battling a lower-body injury that has only kept him out of one game, this past Wednesday’s loss to Winnipeg. Hopefully his return restarts Buffalo’s win streak.
