Buffalo Sabres vs. Dallas Stars Fan Chatter

Entering Tuesday’s game against the Dallas Stars, the Buffalo Sabres have earned points in five of six games in the month of November. This month has included four wins for the Buffalo Sabres, plus an overtime loss – suffered Saturday to the San Jose Sharks. Their lone loss this month came at the hands of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Tonight, the Buffalo Sabres face a Dallas Stars team that they’ll actually see twice this week. After Tuesday’s meeting at First Niagara Center in Buffalo, the teams will reconvene for another meeting on Saturday.

Highlights heading into tonight’s game include the return of Zach Bogosian to the Buffalo Sabres lineup – or more accurately, his introduction to the lineup, since he has yet to play this season. Bogosian will be a huge contributor to the Sabres’ defensive lineup and will play on the second pairing with Jake McCabe. Mark Pysyk and Cody Franson will make up the third pairing, leaving Carlo Colaiacovo as the healthy scratch.

Evander Kane also practiced with the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday morning, but he won’t get into the lineup just yet – though it sounds like that could come as soon as the upcoming road trip.

Linus Ullmark will be in goal for the Buffalo Sabres tonight as they face former head coach Lindy Ruff and his Stars team, a squad that he said he feels compares to the ’06-’07 Sabres.
