SabreNoise is looking for Buffalo Sabres fans and writers to join their team of writers.
SabreNoise has steadily grown as FanSided’s home for Buffalo Sabres coverage dating back to when the site was first launched in early 2009. The Sabres have seen plenty of ups and downs, from a tank to a rebuild, and now the future; and the staff here on site has been there through it all. The constant has always been our goal here on site: to give you folks, our readers, the very best Buffalo Sabres discussion that we possibly can.
Currently, the offseason is in full tilt for the Sabres, with the team going through development camp, free agency and prepping for the 2016-2017 season. We’re looking for writers to help us cover all potential angles for the franchise in the coming year and beyond.
Consider yourself a passionate fan? Read us or other Sabres sites with regularity and ever wonder if you should write about the team too? Maybe you’re just stumbling across us for the first time and you like what you see. We are looking to add to our staff here on site and this could be your chance to grab a stick and join the team.

SabreNoise is currently looking to fill multiple roles on site, from a contributor who is just looking to get started or add to their portfolio, or a co-expert looking to help run the site.
Expectations
We like to let our staff write about the aspects of the team they are most passionate about. There’s room for those interested in covering any aspect of the Sabres. Maybe you’re more of a recruiting junkie and you want to talk about the impact a new signing or trade could have. Or even just chipping in on game previews, round-table discussions on staff about how the team should approach the off-season or whether a big move is needed to get them back on top, or helping with a number of other potential story ideas there could be a place for you here on the team.
Writers are asked to contribute 1-2 posts per week. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it.
We know that for most this is mostly a hobby and something you do for the love of it. That’s why we do it too, as most of us have families, full-time careers, and/or school to balance into our lives as well (there’s room for things besides sports, right?). This is an opportunity to join a staff of writers here who are just simply passionate about the Sabres as we are and want to continue to reach the rest of this great fan base.
Experts are looked to by the staff, will contribute to the site daily, manage social media, and will manage contributors.
Want to join us?
Applying is very easy. Click on the banner below and fill in our brief application. It’ll give you a chance to share some insight into your background (prior online writing experience is not necessary but always encouraged) and let us know why you’d be a fit on site, so give it your best. We’ll be in touch from there.
If you have any questions about the roles, please feel free to email kyle.franzoni@fansided.com or timothy.redinger@fansided.com with any questions.
