The Buffalo Sabres have been on pause due to the NHL’s health and Safety protocols since last weekend after the Devils had announced a covid outbreak within their organization. Multiple members of the Sabres organization have been added to the covid list since they played the Devils. Buffalo has announced that they have rescheduled 12 games so far.
The rescheduled games go as follows:
BUF @ New York Islanders: Moved from February 2nd to February 22nd at 7 pm

BUF @ Washington Capitals: Moved from April 13th to February 18th at 7 pm
Pittsburgh Penguins @ BUF: Moved from April 19th to April 18th at 3 pm
If the schedule remains and we see no more changes, the Sabres’ next game will be Thursday, February 11th, vs. the Washington Capitals at 7 pm in Buffalo.
As of right now, the Sabres have added five players to their covid list. Taylor Hall, Rasmus Ristolainen, Tobias Rieder, Brandon Montour, and Jake McCabe have all been placed on Buffalo’s covid list over the past week. Head coach Ralph Krueger has tested positive for Covid-19 but is currently undergoing all of the necessary health and safety protocols.
The Sabres did not add anyone new to their covid list yesterday. Hopefully, that trend can continue, and we can get back to Sabres hockey as soon as possible.
