The Buffalo Sabres will look to end their streak of seven straight losses tonight when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers in Philly. The Sabres have been playing absolutely awful hockey as of late. They are coming off a three-game series with the Islanders where they got outscored 15 to 6 throughout those three games.

The Sabres faced off against the Flyers in a weekend back-to-back on February 27th and 28th. Both games ended in a 3-0 win for Philadelphia. Buffalo has a record of 1-3-0 against the Flyers this year, there one win coming in the third game of the season.

Sabres forward Jeff Skinner scored his first goal of the season in their last game against the Islanders. Skinner has been under fire for his slow start. Hopefully, now that he finally saw one go in the back of the net for him, he can start to gain some momentum and become the player that we know he can be.

Carter Hutton will likely start in net for the Sabres tonight as Jonas Johansson started the game on Sunday afternoon. Buffalo has lost seven straight games that Hutton has started. He currently has a save percentage of .883 and is allowing an average of 3.40 goals per game.
