The Buffalo Sabres will have another shot at ending their franchise-record winless streak tonight when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers in Buffalo. The Sabres current winless streak sits at 17 games. It has been over a month since the last time Buffalo has won a hockey game.

The Sabres came as close to a win as they have in a while on Saturday afternoon in their match-up with the Boston Bruins. Buffalo was actually winning going into the third period for the first time in what seemed like forever. But they could not close the game out to get the win as they gave up two unanswered goals in the third and lost 3-2.

If you want to look at the positives for Buffalo, Linus Ullmark returned to the lineup on Saturday. He missed a handful of games due to injury. He seemed to pick up where he left off with the decent play, as he made 33 saves on 36 shots for a save percentage of .917%. He has been one of the few positives for the Sabres this season.

The Flyers are one of the few teams that Buffalo has recorded a win against this season. The Sabres are 1-3-1 against Philly so far this year.
