The Buffalo Sabres will play in front of fans today at KeyBank Center against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Sabres are coming off of an excellent 5 to 2 victory over the Capitals on Thursday night, who are in first place in the East Divison.

Buffalo has not beaten the Penguins yet this season. They are 0-4-0 against Pittsburgh this season. The last meeting between these two teams was on Thursday, March 25th, and it ended in a 4-0 victory for the Penguins. This was the only game the Sabres have been shutout under Don Granato.

The Sabres are on a three-game point streak, as they are 2-0-1 in their last three games played. Buffalo has been playing much better as of late. They are closing in on the Devils for the seventh seed in the East Divison. Buffalo has 29 points, and New Jersey has 34 points.

The Penguins are currently the three seed in the east with 57 points in 43 games. They have won three of their last four games, with the only loss in that stretch being a shootout loss to the Flyers.

With Linus Ullmark missing more time with a lower-body injury, Dustin Tokarski will likely get the start today. Tristan Jarry is expected to start in goal for the Penguins.
