The Buffalo Sabres will look to bounce back from a lackluster offensive night against the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night. The Bruins took that game 2 to 0 over the Sabres, which was only the second time Buffalo was held without a goal since Don Granato took over as the interim head coach.

The Bruins are currently in a fight for the final playoff spot in the East Division with less than a month left in the season. The Sabres will look to end Boston’s five-game winning streak tonight and hope to get their first win of the season against the Bruins.

Casey Mittelstadt will look to keep up his quality stretch of play tonight. He has six goals and two assists over the last ten games that Buffalo has played. The team as a whole has benefited and performed better since the coaching change, but Casey has maybe had the most significant individual jump in performance.

Dustin Tokarski is going to get the start tonight, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen will be the backup. Tomorrow night seems to be the night that UPL will make his NHL debut. He will look to take advantage of this opportunity that came about due to injuries to Linus Ullmark and Carter Hutton.
