Sabres vs Ducks: Date, Time, TV, Streaming, More
The Buffalo Sabres will look to carry their momentum out west as they begin their road trip tonight against the Anaheim Ducks. This will be only the second road game the Sabres have had all year, as five of their first six games happened inside KeyBank Center, and their only away game was in nearby New Jersey.
Buffalo currently sits with a 4-1-1 record and coming off a very convincing 5-1 victory over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning. The Sabres have been the surprise of the league so far this season.
The Ducks are currently on a four-game losing streak after winning two of their first three games of the season. This is another great opportunity for the Sabres to grab another win and continue their hot start to the year.
It looks like the Sabres will be without Cody Eakin, Casey Mittelstadt, and Henri Jokiharju. All three could be back soon, but the Sabres have done a great job holding down the fort while they have been out.
Anaheim will be starting their backup goalie Anthony Stolarz tonight as this will be the front end of a back-to-back for them and they want John Gibson for tomorrow night against Vegas. Stolarz has a less than stellar .911 save percentage so far this year.
