Sabres vs Red Wings: Date, Time, TV, Streaming, More
The Buffalo Sabres will try to put their recent West Coast troubles behind them as they are back home tonight to take on the Detriot Red Wings. Buffalo has now dropped three games in a row, all of which were out west.
The Sabres are now 5-4-1 through their first ten games. Having 11 points at this point in the season is likely better than a lot of Sabres fans expected at the beginning of the season, but the last few games have taken some of the air out of the hype balloon from the first week of the season.
Now that Craig Anderson is listed as day-to-day with an injury, we will see more Dustin Tokarski in net over the next few days. Aaron Dell was also recalled from Rochester to act as the backup in Buffalo until Anderson is good to come back.
The Sabres and Red Wings split the two games they played in the preseason. Detroit won the first game 6-2, and Buffalo won their second meeting 3-1. This is the first regular-season meeting between these two teams this year.
