Sabres vs Oilers: Date, Time, TV, Streaming, More
Could tonight be the night that the Buffalo Sabres end their five-game losing streak? It will be a tough ask as they take on the Edmonton Oilers in Buffalo tonight. Edmonton has gotten off to a hot start and is one of the top teams in the Western Conference.
Buffalo has been going through an extremely rough patch since their hot start. The Sabres’ trip to the West Coast seemed to cool them off and they are still trying to find their footing. Since their win against the Ducks on the first game of that road trip, Buffalo is 0-4-1.
The Sabres are still awaiting the return of forwards Casey Mittelstadt and Victor Olofsson, as well as defenseman Henri Jokiharju. All three of these players will be welcome sites once they return and will give the Sabres a much-needed boost.
There is a new face in the locker room, however. Rick the hockey dog is now part of the team, as he is in training to become a service dog. Rick will certainly be bringing some much-needed “paw-sitive” energy into the locker room right now.
