With the All-Star Break in sight, the Buffalo Sabres are gearing up for the second half of yet another lost season.
While a miracle run and a trip to the playoffs isn’t entirely out of the question, the Buffalo Sabres still have more to play for than just spoiler. There is a small youth movement going on, and two players in particular will be ones to watch after the season hits its second half.
Don’t rule out the possibility that there are two reputable franchise cornerstones on the roster right now. Unless, of course, if the Sabres can find another hot streak in them and extend the season until May. And with forty games left, anything is possible for this team. Here are three bold predictions for the second half of the season.
