The Buffalo Sabres head into Glendale and Denver this weekend before concluding their road trip on February 1st in Las Vegas.

And the Buffalo Sabres have fallen on even harder times before they’re slated to face two of the best teams in the Western Conference. First, they lost Aaron Dell to a suspension after an illegal body check on Ottawa Senators right winger, Drake Batherson.

Then on Friday, would-be incumbent goalie Michael Houser tested positive for COVID-19 and will not make the trip west. However, Craig Anderson and Dustin Tokarski will travel with the team, and their returns cannot have come at a better time. However, both have missed an extended period and may need to shake some rust.

While the Sabres have faced adversity over the past week, their weekend road trip begins with a weaker opponent in the Arizona Coyotes. And if they can score a win, it may provide much-needed momentum for the Colorado and Vegas games. Here are three bold predictions.
