How do the Buffalo Sabres start winning again?

The Buffalo Sabres face-off with the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 2nd riding a six-game losing streak.

There are many unfortunate common denominators in the Buffalo Sabres recent games. Yeah, they’ve been tough to watch if you were brave enough to tune in. Next to a solid performance against the St. Louis Blues, the Sabres remain an uninspiring bunch.

Just how bad has this hockey team been? They suffered two blowouts against mediocre talent like the Columbus Blue Jackets and Montreal Canadiens. The Sabres also looked overwhelmed by a middle-of-the-road Dallas Stars team – despite the latter’s recent successes.

There are still a little over two-dozen games to go this season. And while the playoffs are out of the question and fans look to the offseason, the Sabres can still eek out a few hardfought wins.

But, things need to change if they plan on giving their fans a reason to tune in. Here are three changes the Sabres need to make.
