The Buffalo Sabres got off to a wild start to commence their latest homestand with a 5-4 win over Minnesota

For once, the Buffalo Sabres have momentum going into their latest homestand, which actually started on Friday against the Minnesota Wild. They’ve now scored five goals in two straight games. And in the process, they pulled off major upsets during their road trip finale against the Torono Maple Leafs and their homestand premiere against the Wild.

So what can we expect next as the Sabres continue a gauntlet of games from now until March 13th, where the “homestand” ends at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario, with the Heritage Classic? With the team gaining momentum, expect them to pull a few more tricks out of the hat; perhaps a couple more hat tricks?

Keep reading for one bold prediction for each game in the team’s latest homestand. I also included the Heritage Classic since the Sabres are the designated home team.
