Want to meet your favorite players, take part in cool games, and perhaps even a 5k? Buffalo Sabres Fan Fest is where it’s happening. 

It is September and the leaves are already changing, meaning NHL hockey is just about to get underway. For Buffalo Sabres fans, Fan Fest is returning for the 2022-23 season and it is your chance to interact with your favorite current and past players, test your hockey skills, and if you are up for it, take part in the Sabres 5k.

Starting at 11 am on September 17th and right in the middle of the Sabres Prospects Challenge, you will be in for a good time with all the activities planned throughout the weekend. Whether you are looking to snap a few photos with your favorite current and past Sabres, snag a few autographs, or just to get a close-up of some awesome Sabres relics like RJ’s banner, then you need to check out Fan Fest.

Buffalo Sabres Fan Fest opens on Saturday, September 17th and runs through Sunday, September 18th for what will be an unforgettable weekend.

Also on Saturday, the Sabres Prospect Challenge Game against the New Jersey Devils will commence at 7 pm on the 17th. The Sabres 5k kicks things off on Sunday at 9 am with a Fun Run to follow at 10:30. Look close enough, and you may see a few more of your favorite current Sabres and prospects watching the races.

Buffalo Sabres Fan Fest is a great way to start the 2022-23 NHL Season in style. Prepare for an unforgettable experience if you have yet to see what Sabres culture is all about. Preseason kicks off against the Washington Capitals just one week following Fan Fest. And just under four weeks later, the puck drops on October 13th against the Ottawa Senators.
