It’s been a rough two weeks for the Buffalo Sabres. This week, they have a golden opportunity to get back on track and look like the team from October.
Stop me if you have heard this before, the Buffalo Sabres are struggling in the month of November after starting off well in October. Even though there some good moments in particular games, the Sabres have lost five games in a row. After defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins on November 2nd with a record of 7-3-0, Buffalo is now 7-8-0.
Even though we have all seen this movie before, I am confident the team will be able to turn it around. Looking at their schedule the next week, the team can definitely figure it out . In that week span, the Sabres will face Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, and St. Louis over the next few days.
Manageable schedule can work wonders for the Buffalo Sabres
Buffalo can beat the Canucks and Senators, but it’s up to the team to take care of business. Both teams are having bad starts but those two games will be back-to-back for Buffalo. The team will have a few days off before traveling to Toronto and seeing the Team up North for the first time this season.
Buffalo has had Toronto’s number the last few seasons and even though previous years means nothing, the Sabres always seem to step it up against the Maple Leafs. After Toronto, the Sabres will be seeing the Canadiens once again but this time in Montreal.
Then, the team will host the struggling St. Louis Blues. Buffalo does have a couple more games after the Blues but the point is this is a great chance for the Sabres to get their season back on track. I honestly do believe that if they can win a game, then they can get back to being the team we saw in October.
No game will be an easy one but like I said, if the team can win a game then I think they’ll be good to go moving forward. Let’s hope because it’s been a rough month of November for Buffalo sports fans. Getting healthy will be huge as well, but we’ll see what happens as the month goes along because I am not ready to hit the panic button….yet.
