The Buffalo Sabres are looking at a seven-game stretch in the second half of November 2023, mainly on the road vs. teams like the Rangers and Devils.

After a good projected start to November, the Buffalo Sabres will have seven games remaining in the month. In the last seven games, they will only have one game at home. A couple of days after the Bruins game at home, they will head out on the road for a three game road trip.

Up first, a meeting with the Winnipeg Jets. Winnipeg is always a tough test for the Sabres, win or loss. In this game, I have Buffalo getting the victory in overtime or a shootout. Two days later, they will be in Chicago.

The Blackhawks are in a transition period and as long as the Sabres don’t do what they did last year in the Windy City, I have them winning this one. Three days later, they will head to the nation’s capital to close out the trip.

After a nice little winning streak, Buffalo will come up short in this one. The Pittsburgh Penguins will be coming to town as the Sabres will have a back to back. They will beat Pittsburgh on home ice but will lose the next night to the New Jersey Devils.

How will the Buffalo Sabres fare in the final week of November 2023?

In the final week of November, Buffalo will be on the road for two games in New York and St. Louis. The Sabres and Rangers will faceoff in Madison Square Garden and I have Buffalo losing a close one.

On the last day of November, Tage Thompson and the Sabres will square off with the Blues. After a two game losing skid, Buffalo will bounce back with a victory to close out the month of November.

I said in my previous article that I think the Sabres will come out of the month with a good record. As long as they play like we expect them to, I think it will be a good month for the franchise.

  • November Second Half Record: 4-3-0
  • Overall Record: 14-7-2 (30 points)
