As we turn the page from Week 3, it’s time to look ahead to Week 4. Here is what lies ahead for the Buffalo Sabres as we kick off November.

Before we look ahead to Week 4, let’s quickly recap Week 3 for the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres went 2-2 last week. To start the week, they had a back to back. Up first, a home meeting against the Montreal Canadiens. Even though they were the better team, Buffalo lost the game.

They had no time to dwell however as they would be in Ottawa the following night. Despite having a 5-1 lead slowly evaporate, the Sabres held on and won the game 6-4. A couple of days later, Buffalo lost a tight one in New Jersey before winning at home against the Colorado Avalanche.

Okay, it’s time to look ahead to Week 4. The team will play three games this week but will only see two teams. On Wednesday, Buffalo will be in the City of Brotherly Love as they will see the Philadelphia Flyers for the first time this season.

Buffalo Sabres will play three games against two teams in Week 4

After a day off, the Sabres will be in Buffalo to host the same Flyers team, and they will be rocking those beautiful alternate jerseys. For the final game of the week, the Sabres will be in Toronto to take on their most hated rival on Saturday night.

It’s always fun to see these two teams face off and it will be another challenge for the youngest team in the NHL. When all is said and done, I think it will be a good week for Buffalo. They will be 4-5-0 entering November and I have them going 2-0-1 this week.

I predict them to beat Philadelphia both games but will lose in Toronto either in a shootout or overtime. Normally, we all know the Sabres seem to fall a little bit in November but I think this year will be different. We’ll see how it plays out after the week but let’s hope the Sabres start off November strong.
