It’s time to discuss what lies ahead of the Buffalo Sabres as they will play three games in Week 6 of their 2023-24 season.

Looking back to this week, there was nothing impressive to talk about for the Buffalo Sabres. In their three games played, they went 1-1-1. It all started with a loss against the Carolina Hurricanes. Despite a strong effort, Buffalo dropped this one in overtime.

After two days off, the Sabres had their only home game of the week as they would host the Minnesota Wild on Hockey Fights Cancer Night. Buffalo sent the home fans happy as they defeated the Wild 3-2. Then they laid an egg against the Pittsburgh Penguins to conclude Week 5.

As we look ahead to Week 6, the Sabres will have three games once again. The Boston Bruins will come to town on Tuesday and despite losing so many key players in the offseason, they are 11-1-2 coming into this meeting with the Sabres.

For some reason, Buffalo doesn’t play well against bad or average teams sometimes but whenever they play really good teams, they seem to bring their best effort. This game won’t be easy either way but hopefully they can get Alex Tuch back as he is battling a very minor injury.

Buffalo Sabres will face a tough test early in Week 6 vs. Boston Bruins

To wrap up Week 6, the Sabres will be on the road. They will be taking on the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night. Winnipeg will present a challenge for Buffalo but depending on what Sabres team shows up, they could very well win this game.

To close out the week, Buffalo will have a Sunday night showdown as they will be in Chicago to take on Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks. As expected, the Blackhawks are not doing so well but they are not a pushover, so the Sabres cannot take them easy.

For Week 6, I think Buffalo will go 2-1. I have them losing to Boston but rebounding with two straight victories against Winnipeg and Chicago, both in regulation.
