A dozen games, a dozen game  -how do you watch a dozen games.  The Buffalo Sabres entertained the Vancouver Canucks as part of a dozen games of action across the league, and if you couldn’t watch them all, now here is your chance.  Here is a quick video recap of all the NHL action from last night.

Vancouver Canucks (5-3-0) vs Buffalo Sabres (1-7-1)

The Buffalo Sabres fail to string two wins together and fall back on the offensive woes, getting shutout at home by the Vancouver Canucks 3-0. A sad day in Buffalo for sure, as empty seats and Fire Darcy chants ring loud and clear. Ryan Miller stands out for the Sabres again – but refuses to speak to the media after the loss.

Carolina Hurricanes (3-2-3) vs Toronto Maple Leafs (6-2-0)

It took 32 seconds for the night to end for James Reimer, and the Carolina Hurricanes used a third period come back to shock the Leafs and hand them just their second loss of the season, as they fall 3-2.

Edmonton Oilers (1-6-1) vs New York Islanders (3-2-2)

In a battle of the former dynasty’s – who will win the high road to glory first and bring a championship back to their city – Edmonton falls in the battle 3-2, but could still win the war.

Pittsburgh Penguins (6-1-0) vs Philadelphia Flyers (1-7-0)

Oh what a relief it is…..not sure where the Flyers can find relief, but this is one Sabres overjoyed by the fact that the Flyers are worst in the standings than the Buffalo Sabres. In the battle of Pennsylvania – Pittsburgh drops the Flyers 4-1.

Columbus Blue Jackets (2-4-0) vs Montreal Canadiens (5-2-0)

He lets in three goals, but still manages to pull off a win as his Canadiens soar to a 5-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Cary Price leads his team into battle, and hoping for a lengthy Stanley Cup playoff run this year.

New Jersey Devils (0-4-3) vs Ottawa Senators (3-2-2)

Ok – so bad movie reference time, not that it was a bad movie, but its all you can reference when your kids rule the television on non-hockey nights, how ba-a-aa-ad can they be (It’s from the new Lorax movie for those of you who don’t have kids)? New Jersey still looking for their first win of the season as they stretch reaches seven games as they fall to the Ottawa Senators.

Minnesota Wild (3-3-2) vs Tampa Bay Lightning (5-2-0)

Minnesota falls to the Lightning by a score of 3-1 as the Wild fall for the second time since defeating the Buffalo Sabres.

Boston Bruins (4-2-0) vs Florida Panthers (2-6-0)

The Boston Bruins visit the Florida Panthers, and score a late goal against their former netminder to defeat the Panthers and Tim Thomas by a score of 3-2.

St. Louis Blues (5-1-0) vs Chicago Blackhawks (4-1-2)

Los Angeles Kings (5-3-0) vs Nashville Predators (3-3-1)
