Welcome to the new Buffalo Sabres week in review, where in addition to talking about the games in which the Sabres lost we also add video and tweets and pictures. Some rare weeks- like this one- we’ll even be able to talk about games in which the Sabres came out on the winning end of.

We have a lot to talk about so let’s get going.

Standings wise not much changed for the Buffalo Sabres who still occupy the 30th spot in the NHL standings, but there is debate going on debating whether the Sabres or the Edmonton Oilers are the worst NHL team. Not a debate either team wants to be involved with.

The Sabres suited up for 3 games this week and won 2 of the 3 for a winning percentage of 66%, not a bad week for a hockey team which is finally beginning to come together like an NHL team. In addition to winning 2 of 3, the Sabres offence finally resurrected scoring 4 goals twice this week.

Game 1: 4-2 Win over the Winnipeg Jets
Game 2: 4-2 Win over the Boston Bruins
Game 3: 4-1 Loss to the Boston Bruins.

Twitter provides fans and media alike with a brand new way to interacti with our favourite players, here’s some of the awesome tweets from the Sabres this week.

It can be tough for a guy to be traded to a new team midseason, but with teammates like Jhonas Enroth Linus Omark doesn’t have to worry!

Gifs of the Week

Since Ville Leino hasn’t been able to score any goals, he decided to contribute by drawing penalties. He’s moving to Hollywood and joining the Olympic diving team next week!

You rarely get to see the pure emotion from a coach after a win, so it’s always nice to see a coach get a little excited.
