Win Starvation: 1. Sorry, guys. It’s going to take a really bad decade of hockey for people to start feeling bad for anything that happens to the Red Wings. That’s what 23 straight playoff berths and 4 Stanley Cups will do. I imagine they’ll take that deal any time.

Cup Contender Chances: 3. This is essentially the 8-seed in a weak East. If they can get past Boston, anything is possible, but I doubt they will.
