GOALTENDERS

The Sabres may have up to four goaltenders hitting the free agent market next summer, so Tim Murray will have to make some progress in signing at least a few of them before July 1.

Jhonas Enroth, Michal Neuvirth, Matt Hackett and Nathan Lieuwen are all set to become free agents in 2015, with the first two becoming UFAs.

Lieuwen seems to be one of the top goaltending prospects in the organization right now, and with Andrey Makarov on the up-and-coming roster, it’s possible Hackett’s time with Buffalo will come to an end.

What about Enroth and Neuvirth? I guess a lot can be determined by this upcoming season and who’s even interested in returning to Buffalo.

This coming season, Neuvirth is set to make $2.5 million; Enroth, half of that. Hackett will earn $750,750 and Lieuwen $588,333.
