And it makes you wonder when the inevitable off-day will approach. The Sabres are also not without their flaws. They’ve been outshot and outmuscled twice, forcing goaltender Eric Comrie to put up 40-plus saves on back-to-back nights.

The Sabres may have scored more goals, but this success is not sustainable at the moment. I’m going with a Canucks win, 4-2 in this one, and the loss will be a learning experience for the Sabres. Well, hopefully, the loss will show them that they can’t solely rely on their goaltending to bail them out of seemingly every game.
