Up next for our record predictions, I predicted how the Buffalo Sabres might fare in the first half of the month February 2024.

We are projecting the Buffalo Sabres to come into February with a pretty good record. After a projected strong finish in January, the Sabres will play 11 games in the new month. For February, I will do the first half. After the West Coast trip, Buffalo will have a week off before starting the month.

Their first game will be at home against the Dallas Stars. The Stars will be a tough challenge for Buffalo and I have the Sabres losing on home ice in this one. I forgot to mention that Buffalo will have a four game homestand to start February.

After having a few days off, they will welcome the St. Louis Blues where I see the Sabres getting their 30th win of the season. Up next, the Los Angeles Kings. The Kings are a very good team and even though this game will be competitive, I have Buffalo losing this one.

To close out the homestand, the Florida Panthers will pay a visit and I see the Sabres falling in this one as well. The Sabres will head out to Minnesota where they will take on the Wild. This is a tough stretch for the team where I have them losing this one as well but in overtime or a shootout.

For the final game of the first half, the Anaheim Ducks will play the Sabres in a Monday matinee. After a small losing skid, Buffalo will earn the 2 points. Even though I have Buffalo starting off slow in February, they are still in good shape.

They will be facing some pretty good teams in this six-game stretch and every team has that period where they slow down and are in a funk. I think this is when the Buffalo Sabres will have their funk but as I just mentioned, they are in a good place.
