Buffalo Sabres vs. Vegas Golden Knights (3/3)
While this may not be nearly as big a game as past seasons, the return of Jack Eichel to Buffalo still makes this game a can't-miss. The Sabres traded Eichel to the Golden Knights during the 2021 season and this will be his sixth game against the team that drafted him second overall in 2015.
Eichel has played well against his former team with six goals and two assists in those five games and the Sabres' fans would love nothing more than to see him leave Western New York with a loss.
Buffalo Sabres vs. Washington Capitals (3/12)
While nothing has been officially announced, it seems likely that this will be Alex Ovechkin's final season in the NHL. The current NHL record holder for goals has his sights set on 900 career goals and should accomplish that early in the season, as he currently has 897.
This could be the final chance for Sabres' fans to watch one of the greatest players in NHL history live and makes this one of the best games to go see this season.
Buffalo Sabres vs. Dallas Stars (4/15)
This final game is really dependent on how the season goes for the Buffalo Sabres. If they are competitive and fighting for a playoff spot, then the final game of the regular season could be their last chance at ending the playoff drought.
If the Sabres are in contention, or find themselves in a 'win and they are in' scenario, then this will be the biggest game in nearly a decade. It will be one that fans won't want to miss and they will be able to say they were at the game the playoff drought ended.
