After the month of October, Buffalo will turn the page to November. They will play 14 games during the month, seven at home and seven on the road. To start November, the Sabres will have a back-to-back against the New York Islanders in KeyBank Center, then in Detroit for a matchup against the Red Wings.
Once leaving the Motor City, Buffalo will come home to host the Ottawa Senators before going to New York with a meeting against the Rangers in Madison Square Garden. Before going on a four game road trip, the Sabres will have a three game home stand. During that stretch, the Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens and St. Louis Blues will make their way into Buffalo.
The Sabres will be in Philadelphia before heading out to California. Following a day off after their last game of the season against the Kings in Los Angeles, Buffalo will have a back-to-back as they will square off against the Ducks and Sharks.
For the final week of November, the Sabres will have two more home games. Once they finish hosting the Minnesota Wild, Buffalo will have yet another back-to-back as they will welcome in the Vancouver Canucks before going to New York for a meeting against the Islanders.
Just like it is every month, it will be a tough schedule for Buffalo. In the 14 games they play during the month, six of those are teams who were in the playoffs last year. It will be interesting to see how their stamina is as they will have three back-to-backs.
Three of the 14 games are against divisional foes, so it's possible we could see some bad blood that's been forming in the last couple of seasons. We will see how it shakes out for the team before they turn the page to the final month of 2024.
